Default LOTG Auction Item Opinions

https://loveofthegameauctions.com/mo...entoryid=23413

What an amazing item for an Iowa collector. Definitely something I would love to bring home to Iowa and placed into my protective custody.

The description states they are confident this is Mcgraw pictured. Are there other pictures to compare to this one? I want to have confidence by asking others their opinions.

I hate bringing attention to this item, mine - stay off folks, but I really want your opinions.

Thanks Craig

Personally, I can't tell if it is him or not in the auction picture. Here is a link to an early image of McGraw from nearly the same vantage point in case there is enough contrast for somebody to do an ear study. Have you reached out to Al to ask how he is sure? I'm pretty sure that he'd share with you his rationale for his conclusion.

Your post is confusing due to the picture you posted. It would have made much more sense had you posted the item you were asking about :

Agreed. I was going to post that I'm pretty sure that's not John McGraw.

This item has been available before by other AHs and id’ed as McGraw. If LOTG thinks it’s him, then it likely is. Al usually researches items independently to ensure the accuracy of the items he auctions. I usually trust H&S as well.

Hello, I’m a prior owner and felt pretty strongly it was McGraw. But I suppose I’m a little biased. I would love to know if anyone hears anything. Here are some pictures I took
