Default Happy Mother's Day....Bit Early

I found a jewel from page 11, no less, from this morning's NY Post which I wanted to share with the Forum.
One Christopher Trencher ,55, of Manhattan has sued his....mother! 82, for the return of 2 vintage baseball cards which he claims are his property, while she contends that he gifted the cards to her as she was a big fan of one of the players depicted.
The cards in question are '53 Topps of Ralph Kiner and Satchell. Full size pictures of the cards are shown. Nice son Chris claims they are worth 25k and has gone to court to recover them. Mother Carol will defend to keep her property.
From the images in the paper the cards look nice, maybe near mint but 25k, no way. There is a lot more but it is depressing. My mother kept my baseball cards in the attic for 30 years and wouldn't let anybody throw them out. Bless you mom.

I saw this yesterday. Sad that money makes people become shells of who they really are. Made me think of this one.
