Josh,

The card is most certainly a fake. If you look at the back, you can tell that the front and back have been pieced together. Back damage doesn't look like that. Also, the font on the front is off.

Andy, I dont see any definitive evidence that the card has been pieced together...couldnt it just have been removed from a scrapbook?

It could be real, but looks sorta short t/b to me. I think one would need a closer look at that typeface before making any conclusions about authenticity though.

It is fake. I don't see the layering Andy does but I do see same "flatness" in the image quality and the same color quality when compared to the Plank in the reprint set I have.

i don't have the reprinted e95 set but that's one hell of a reprint if it is. when i first saw the auction the thing i found strange was the color was darker than the planks i've seen, but that could be the scanner setting. maybe mine's a reprint too! have to handle in person the seller has bought alot of vintage cards the past few years though...
