Even as a layperson those 2 pictures differences are easily discernible. That's incredible. It is the same in most other collectible areas too, the impostors aren't the same quality. Side by side comparisons are great and are easily understood. I have never dealt with TJ, that I am aware of. But my focus is on pre-war baseball cards so it's not surprising I haven't done anything with him. Thanks for sharing and good luck.

Just curious, where do the bad Balfour rings come from? One can't just produce rings like that from home...

As long as were asking questions. How does TJ do such a high volume? Is it his web presence or does he actively solicit purchasing rings from former players?

He has sold a handful of UH rings and I have always been curious to know how he obtains them.

They come from Irv Lerner, located in Philadelphia. I have a copy of one of his newsletters where he mentions he will make any Yankee ring from any year with any name (yours or your favorite player).

Myself and perahsp others have sent the newsletter to Balfour, MLB, NFL, and Jostens.

They don't don anything about it,
