Crandall or Crandall?
Posted By: John S
I hope someone can help me out with this one. The Colgan's checklist has a Crandall from Memphis listed as "Doc" Crandall. The other "Doc" Crandall, to the best of my knowledge, did not pitch in the minor leagues during the time that E254's were issued, so I am assuming that they are two different Crandalls. Question: What was Crandall's of Memphis first name (or did both players have the same nickname?)? |

Nothing erudite to contribute other than both guys have the same big ears. Same guy or same DNA, at least. |

I believe the New York Giants player was James Otis "Doc" Crandall. |
