Default A neat game used/trading card combo…

Hi all,

Here’s one of Greinke’s cards from the 2015 Topps Strata Clearly Authentic relic set. The card is #43/50 and features not only the hologram that was issued for swatches within the set and labeled JB128203 but even cooler is the fact that this card also has the original hologram placed on the jersey labeled EK316942 which was on the reverse side of the jersey, at the bottom of the #1 in Greinke’s #21 that he wore with the Dodgers. The jersey was worn on June 7, 2015 during Greinke’s ESPN Sunday Night Baseball start at Dodger Stadium against the Cardinals. Zack would go 6.2 innings, while giving up 1 run on 6 hits, with 8 K’s and 1 BB. Zack also went 2-2 at the dish and scored a run as the Dodgers would lose 4-2 after a 9th inning St. Louis rally. This was Zack’s best statistical season to date and one of the best seasons by a pitcher of the 2010s as he would post a 1.66 ERA and contend for his second Cy Young Award.

Thank you! I’m glad that someone else finds it interesting as well! It’s not often that relic cards carry the original MLB Authentication Program hologram. So this one is a bit of a unicorn and having two holograms strengthens the authenticity that much more!
