Default A cool pickup... something I've been after for a long time.

Hi all,

Just want to share my recent pickup. It isn't anything too crazy but it's super important to me personally. The item is a filled out scorecard from the Mariners vs Padres game on July 15, 1999. The game is notable for being the inaugural game at Safeco Field (now T-Mobile Park.) What makes it even more special is that I was born the same day along with my twin brother, two hours befor first pitch. I wasn't born in Seattle but my Dad was and grew up a Mariners fan and loved watching Junior play. Because of my Dad, Junior is my favorite all-time player as well so this game is super meaningful to me. I had seen many blank scorecards in the past from this game but this is the first one that I have found to have been scored through all nine innings, telling the story of that warm summer evening twenty-two years ago when Safeco and I came into the world.

Jake
