Default Cobb

This is probably my favorite card! No way i'll be able to buy a high-grade one in the near future but I enjoy my low-grade example of it anyway.

Two questions:

1. Is there usually that gap in the top between card and holder? It makes the card look short relative to other T206 examples that fill the holder completely.

2. What would be a fair offer for a card of that quality, assuming card is all good?

Perhaps it's just my imagination; however, the top edge looks just a bit uneven...a little shorter on the right side of this photo than the left. I may be wrong. The slant of the photo may be leading me astray.

He could buy a scanner for each card of this value, and each one would pay for itself.

Eric,

Looks that way to me also but it could just be the angle of the photos. Also, an illusion of unevenness is possible due to the way the image was printed on the card. I've had a few cards that appeared to be uneven but when viewed from the back, they were fine. It is far easier to see when the card is a blank back. In this case though it seems (to me) to be a bit off when viewed from the front or back. Hard to believe PSA would miss this if, in fact, it is uneven. Wouldn't they take several length and width measurements of the card as part of their assessment?

I don't like the angle of these pics. I hate it when sellers do this! I always use a scanner when digitizing my cards so you see a top view, no silly confusing angle shots.

Default Scanner

I can never figure out why someone doesn't spend $50 bucks on a scanner when they sell high end cards like this.

Sure looks trimmed to me.
