Default Closing Tonight: Love of the Game Auctions

Just a note to remind everyone that the Spring LOTG auction closes tonight. Extended bidding begins at 9pm eastern, with the Double OT period beginning at 2AM.

A couple of items I thought I'd point out:

1) The 1919-1920 Joe Jackson original Type 1 photo. This is an outstanding portrait distributed in September of 1920 in conjunction with the White Sox players being indicted. Late this week I dug up a newspaper clip online from a New York newspaper, showing this very photo on September 29 - the same date written on the reverse. I thought that was pretty neat.

2) The 1890 Henry Chadwick cabinet photo by photographer Frank Pearsall.

3) The 1888 W.A. Stratton Hoss Radbourn cabinet. With N173 Radbourn cabs fetching well into the five figures lately, this one features his N172 "dual player" photo, and is likely a more affordable example.

4) Beautiful 1880 Silver Trophy baseball, awarded to the Cresent (likely Crescent) Base Ball Club of Mt. Kisco, NY.

5) The 1955 Topps full 110-card uncut sheet. An outstanding display piece, very rare, just not something you see every day.

Please have a look, if you're so inclined. And as always, special thanks to the Net54 community, who have always been so supportive and understanding during our growth.

Have a great weekend, and best regards,
-Al
