may be easier to try this on a new thread. i'm gonna guess the T206 collectors overall are fairly high up in age bracket as opposed to maybe some collectors of other sets. michael, you and I may be some of the youngest next to someone like Trae. |

Will turn 45 soon. And look at least every bit of it. Started collecting at 26. My first card was a red background Cobb as a first anniversary gift. |

I am 45 but don't necessarily collect t206 other than backs....however, collecting for many seems like a life long passion so anyone in their early 30's I would consider very young...relative to what we are speaking of.....Lionel is 88'ish.....so most of you guys (so far) have over 50 more years to collect.....You're just getting started.....regards |

Well I'm pushing 55 (whatever that means) but most of my T206 collecting was in my 30's. I moved on to historic 19th century memorabilia and gave up cards before I hit 40. |

45. I think it would be worrisome if the average age were 70. But it ain't. |

i've been collecting t206's...mainly the backs for about 25 years or so...not terribly seriously though! Here's my first t206 I bought at a card show when I was 10 or so! I'm now 38. |

Of all pre-war sets, I think the T206 set will have the largest amount of younger collectors collecting it, as well as older collectors. The reasoning behind this is simple, T206s are the most common cards of the era and are the easiest to find. If a young kid is looking to get involved in Pre-War baseball cards he or she is most likely to get a hold of a T206 card. They’re affordable, colorful, and include some of the biggest names in baseball’s history. |

Not specifically a T206 collector, but thought I'd ring in. The answer can actually be described by a very simple equation: |

I'm 20 and collect primarily t206 rare variations and backs. Started collecting t206 at the age of 11, took an 8 year break from the hobby and restarted collecting one year ago. |
