It was a smaller one I ran because I got someone's cards late.

Ha! It'll be so long that without my spreadsheet I wouldn't even know which cards represent the 50 card black hole in my collection.

How many cards were in the sub and PSA lost the whole thing?

I got most of mine back now, but there are still a few cheaper ones that have been sitting there since Feb. It would be nice if I got them back this summer.

Good luck. I sent a sub that arrived 9/11, then took 10 weeks to log in, and is currently only on step 4/8. I’ve given up on a summer return at this point.

123 cards. 15 lbs worth. They obviously weighed the package. I got a tracking number but they haven't handed it off to the post office.

God, now I feel like a slimeball after breathing a sigh of relief that it wasn't the Swingin 60's sub. Human nature sucks. I hope to heck they track down the missing cards.

I, too, breathed a sigh of relief that it wasn’t Bobby’s pre-war or swingin 60s subs. Whew. Best wishes to those affected!

If PSA was smart, they would design a slabbing machine the size of a briefcase and send graders door to door. Not only can they grade your cards, but everything else in your house. Video games, comics, coins, beanie babies, your toaster, grandpa’s ash urn, whatever.

The slab sealers I have seen are way smaller than a briefcase. Used to be a joke that one grading company would sell you the slabs and flips. Then send you the slab sealer. When done you would put machine back in the box and write "wrong address, return to sender" on it to save on return shipping.

Maybe I can get slabbed. I’m vintage, well-centered, have good color, a nice surface, and am sharpe. I think I’m a PSA 8 all day.

Very sorry about the loss. As much as I always thought it was dopey, you put yourself out there and piss blood for 6-9 months for everyone. I think the package will eventually show up and it isn't your fault. To offer this service for everyone, you deserve a pat on the back, not a kick in the teeth right now. Good luck my handsome friend & All the best, Fudd.

Totally agree. I’m as big a skeptic of PSA as anyone here, and probably derailed these threads a time or two out of frustration. But nevertheless feel terrible for Bobby and everyone else impacted.

Bobby, you’ve provided a great sense of community and performed a valuable service for those who wanted their cards graded. You did the scut work that nobody else wanted to take on. The sheer volume at hand dictates that some cards will inevitably get lost. I hope you don’t take this incident too hard. You are a great asset to this forum and have helped a ton of people in the process.

That said… I bet the cards eventually turn up. Fingers crossed!

Thank you. I hate to say this, but I was perusing some youtube videos to see if others had issues recently. One guy on there had a major issue with an Allen Iverson rookie card with a cracked case. He wound up getting a totally different card back (and someone else wound up getting his card). I was amazed at the level that PSA reached out to this gentleman over his whole ordeal. Our situation is worth a whole lot more $$$ than his was. Hopefully they will show me the same level of customer service that they showed that gentleman. Us Net54 guys deserve it.

That's a walk in the park if they find them. Good luck. I love that guy with the Iverson...Great for a laugh You need to make a you tube video!!!!!! About the "15 pounder that got away". Maybe get your $$$$ back with the click bait when it goes viral. You could do one a week "Ticked off Vic" style. You can call it "Pissed off Bobby"

That guy with the Iverson was interesting. His reaction when he pulled that Isiah Rider out of that box was priceless. I could go work for them in their shipping and receiving departments. Issues like that and lost packages would be a thing of the past.

Rest easy guys. Bobby is on top of it, even if PSA isn't. Over a year ago, PSA "lost or misplaced" a card Bobby subbed for me on one of his group subs. Getting help, or info from PSA was like dealing with N. Korea on Wuhan. Bobby diligently kept me updated and . . . viola! . . . eventually it showed up. No thanks to PSA, but great thanks to Bobby!

Thanks for the kind words, but that was all due to Jackie Curiel. She was great in finding that card. I asked for her help this time though and she brushed me off. It's almost like she wants no part of anything difficult. Maybe she is worried that it doesn't stop with Joe Orlando? Maybe she (and others) are worried about their future in the company?

If that’s so, I would think new management would look favorably on her helping a customer, especially someone who submits as much as you do.

With a backlog of 1-2 Million Cards to be graded, do you think the customer recruitment division is a priority for management. I doubt that they will be giving away toasters to new customers any time soon.

Pm Nat about it and see if you get any help. Losing an order is a bad thing..PSA should be helping all they can.

Leon....I am tempted like hell to do that. There is a DAVE STEINBERGER helping us though. He is the VP of Customer Experiences. Right now, my experience isn't looking too good. But I asked Jeff what I should do, as he has some key cards in the order as well, and we are thinking it is better to give Dave a chance to see what he can do. I have a feeling if I had a YoutTube channel, I would be getting some call backs or something. Right now, the calls are a little one sided. And with me being OCD like I am (aren't ALL collectors), it is just gnawing me to death. I feel so helpless.
