Default Mastronet's CJ Mathewson

Posted By: Paul

Have you folks seen the level the bidding has already reached for Mastronet's 1914 (horizontal) Cracker Jack Mathewson???? I've always wanted this card, but guess I'll have to put it on my list of cards I'll never own. For that price, there are a number of Old Judge Hall of Fame cabinets you could buy, maybe even a Yum Yum or G&B.

It's going to go even higher. I have been collecting 1914 Cracker Jacks for over 6 years and besides the Bresnahan no #, this is by far the toughest one to obtain. The Frank Chance is close, but the Matty is just so rare that when it does come up for sale, it goes for a premium price. And to think, this is a PSA 3 and there is a PSA 7 Matty out there. Wonder what that would fetch!
