How can this card not be trimmed?

I thought this was going to be a thread about Marshall Fogel's collection lol.

I'd have to see this Ruth in person to be able to say with confidence whether it was trimmed or not. But it doesn't scream "trimmed" to me first glance.

I don't see obvious trimming.

Well perhaps there are some "skinny" one out there, but normally the left and right side borders taken together are far more ample, I would say.

I have seen them all over the place. This is one is very narrow but quite large, relatively speaking, top to bottom. I spoke with several experienced collectors before I bought it and no one thought it was trimmed. I still don't.

Here's mine. The side borders do look a little bigger than the one on ebay, but I don't see any obvious signs of trimming either.

These 33 Goudey card stock sizes are all over the place though. Even yours has noticeably shorter top and bottom borders than Leon's example posted above with the narrower sides. All posted examples in this thread are within factory-cut expectations from my experience.

Sorry I cannot tell either and it looks right for the grade.
Regardless someone will be happy if they can get it for their collection

If mine is trimmed, and it may be, I don't give a good hoot.
