Default A.C.E.- Autograph Certification Experts...Any thoughts?

Recently, I've seen a bunch of COA's issued by ACE (Autograph Certification Experts). I know if it's just another company to add to the bottom of the COA list, but I've seen quite a few questionable items like this one that makes me really surprised.

I have been collecting Boggs' signature in person since '83, and everything from the pressure point, letter height/size, and legible "e" and ending "s" is a tip off. There are a bunch of ACE COAs in that same auction and many of them appear to be done by the same hand due to the pen/ink and pressure points. Any thoughts?

Do some searching in previous threads regarding ACE and Priddy. LOTS of discussion there that should give you all the info you're looking for and more. They're not on eBay's banned COA list without reason.

Thanks, guys. There was a great thread back in 2011 where somebody posted an ACE COA that stated the accompanying signature was signed in the presence of an ACE staff member (It was Babe Ruth's). That's all the info I need to know!

My suggestion is before you ask and I am not being nasty, just put in Justin or Ace, or Morales , and your question will be answered over and over again. The big contest is come up with someone : new. If you do that. You will win a fully paid trip to Leon's in beautiful Texas. This will be paid for by all the forgers that will not have to listen how much we hate them.

I think pretty much everyone here does...the whole reason that ACE exists is to put a COA with garbage that can be sold at local auctions to grandma and grandpa. It's becoming epidemic.

For amusement, horror or both, check out ACE's facebook page.

Unfortunately, ACE appears at some shows doing authentications and certing items signed at the show.

So, there is the possibility that some unknowing schlub may think ACE is credible and submit an authentic item.
