Never attribute to malice that which can be more easily explained by incompetence.

Rather than a "cyber attack", which is an easy issue to address, look at your software provider. That's your likely problem.

I am certainly not amused by the fact that Simple Auction despite past occurrences and warnings could not adequately protect my auction close. i prefer not to comment any more, but noone has ever accused me of being a bad businessperson.

We are happy we ensured every bidder who wished to bid was able to, and our consignors are pleased with the results

It was a bit of a pain, but it wasn't anywhere near as bad as the last one. Just glad it worked out in the end for me and only lost a little less than an hour.

I am sure you will work on it before the next one and we all hope there will be no problems.

I just wish you could do something about the others bidding on the items I want. I was only able to win one item!

May want to provide proof he pays you on this one too. There is a rather negative thread on him based on a $15K transaction on Blowout last year.

Bob, I received your PM (thank you), and I will try to reach out later, but I think Goldin’s response here to my query was sufficient. These are dangerous times in cyber world, and I think auction attacks are as scary as info theft. I am glad Goldin is taking the utmost precautions to protect personal info. Thanks
