Default Advice please....anyone here ever dealt with Toppsaholic???

I got this guy sending me message after message on Ebay asking me to remove him from my blocked bidder list. Honestly, I forget what he did to get on it in the first place. I believe in 2nd chances as well, but didn't know if others had horror stories involving this guy or is he A-OK to deal with?

I believe he was banned on here, Bobby, but I forget the reasons why, exactly?

Very unpredictable personality. Sells a lot of hard to find off beat Topps stuff. I have bought from him without issues. Others report different experiences. I think was booted from CU too but that is a large club

It is my understanding that the original buyout price was $75. A large shareholder said that wasn't enough. They valued the stock at $92. The buyer said, OK I will pay $92 then. That was the last I heard of the situation. Maybe you know more than I do?

I didn't know sellers could see they were on a list like that.

The OP had Toppsaholic on his Blocked List. Toppsaholic could easily find out once he tried to bid on the OP's Auction..........

He seems like a truly unhinged person. Once, he had an OC card with a really high BIN price, but also a best offer option, so I simply asked him what would be the lowest amount he would accept. Just a casual, straightforward question from a potential buyer. But his reply was something out of crazytown, spewing all sorts of hate at me for even asking the question. Multiple messages from him, even though I never replied to his first outburst. It was as "WTF?" as you could possibly get.

My email history shows that I bought a PSA slabbed T206 off the seller in 2017. It was a completely unremarkable transaction.

I have never dealt with him, but I have noticed him. His prices are usually very, very high.
The Battersbox had a low grade, graded 1962 Jell-O card. It was a 1 or a 2, and it wasn't one of the rare ones. Battersbox had it for sale for a long, long time. They kept dropping their price. I think it got around $12.50, and Toppsaholic bought it. He immediately reposted it for $100 , even though it sat unsold for a very long time, at a much lower price.
I have seen him do the same with other cards. As I say, he has very high prices.

During the past few years I bought a couple of items from him with no problems. A couple of months ago, I made an offer on one of his cards. He didn't respond, but he raised the price on the card.

I called him an jerk, and he sent 2 responses. The first was that he reevaluated the card and realized he had it priced too low. (He didn't. It was priced way too high) The second response was that I need to be careful because he knows my home address and my email address.

I don't know if he followed through, but shortly after that response I started receiving emails from gambling sites and porn sites. It may have originated from him, but I don't know for sure.

That is likely one of the only people on all of eBay where no matter what the card is and how much I want it or have been looking for years, I would pass without a second thought.

I bought a pre-war card from him last week. It arrived yesterday. The only thing unusual about the transaction was how exceedingly well-packed the card was.

I just had this happen. I was searching for a card. It popped up at a great price. Then I seen who the seller was, needless to say I still need the card.

I have him on my Ignore List here. I can't remember if it was precipitated by a direct interaction we had or something with another member boiling over.
