Wade Boggs 2000 All Star Game bat

Yes the title is correct and not a misprint. I just received this awesome to me at least bat in the mail today.

Was really hoping someone might have some info on what exactly it is.

I know Wade was in a All Star Celebrity Hitting Challenge July 9th 2000 at Turner Field during All Star Weekend. Google has failed me on finding any info on this event.

Hi Ben,

Very cool bat, but I'm confused as it looks like he signed it in 1999 but it's a 2000 All-Star Game bat. What am I missing? Was it just made early and he signed it well before the actual All-Star Game?

I think the date is the day he hit #3000.

Yes, date he hit #3000. The lady I bought the bat from got it in 2002 at a charity event in Massachusetts.

I think it is a 1/1 bat the players received for being part of All Star Game Weekend.
