Default Show Your La Presse

My Babe Ruth La Presse came in the mail today. I have always wanted one of these and finally picked this one up. How many of you have this same Ruth. Show your Ruth or your other La Presse please. This Ruth came with the whole magazine as well.

If you save the image on your computer and them view it at 200% you can read them.

Ahhhhh, the French part, oops sorry, a bigger font doesn't make that any easier. Sort of like when you're in France (or Quebec) and talking louder doesn't seem to help, although many continue to try.

Derek it was trial and error for me. Kept taking pictures until I got one I liked. Wish I had a big enough scanner. I think these things are really neat.

All of the "scans" above appear to be pictures with phones. That's what I did with my Grove. They are a pain to scan. When I scan the La Presse's, I scan them twice and piece them back together at the end. Here is an example.

I have a large sized flatbed scanner. ScanExpress A3 USB 2400 Pro. Cost less than $250. Since I collect large stuff, it was well worth the price.

I have the complete set. The Ruth is hard to find, but not impossible.

Actually, I may not have the complete set. According to the catalog, I am missing "Dan Howley" but I'm not sure that his La Presse exists.

If anybody has it, I will buy it, or trade you for it, I have many duplicates.

Thanx,
Doug
