Default El Pibe do Oro

Very sad day for soccer fans--he was a legend and he certainly lived like it.

Terrible to hear. 60 sounds so young.

Default Maradona

All I have are memories. I have been around the sport since I was 8 years old and watched a TON of international soccer. Despite my admiration for Lionel Messi, I'd still say Diego Maradona is the single most skilled and thrilling player I have ever watched, a total nightmare for the opponent. There is a player - I can't recall who and it doesn't matter- who was trying to quantify Maradona's relative skill. He said, "What Zinadine Zidane does with a ball, Diego could do with an orange" (or something very close). Bottom line is he was a tornado on the pitch and a joy to behold. Rest in Peace. Trent King

Why are people going nuts over his Panini card? I consider it a third or a forth year card!
