Default Vintage Glove Babe Ruth????

I picked up this old glove off eBay last year. The seller stated that he picked it up at an Estate sale in Atwater California 15 or so years ago from an old fella. His listing stated that there was a lot of old markings and names on the glove and one was Babe Ruth. He stated that he figured that it was put on the glove by kids and that there was no chance it was an actual Ruth signature!
Anyway I thought the glove with all of the scribbles/names and cities marked on it was kinda an interesting piece if even only for conversation so I bid on it and won.
I know that Ruth Barnstormed thought California in 1927 with Gehrig and did play 2 games in Marysville California on Oct. 25th and then down to Fresno for a game with the Japanese Allstars on the 29th I think. Anyway the interesting thing is that someone has written Marysville California about 3 times on this glove.
Just a fluke I'm sure but it sure has me wondering???????????
Any thoughts from you guys would be appreciated !!

It looks like a vintage glove but no chance in the world that is Babe Ruth's autograph.

And, of course, Babe was a Left handed thrower.
Certainly not a Babe glove, FWIW.

I was not inferring that this might be a Babe Ruth used Glove knowing that he was a left handed thrower and that the Glove is a cheap store model item. I just wondered that maybe some kid took this glove to the contest in Marysville back in 27 and had some of the players sign it?
Never figured that the signature could be or would be authentic, shoot what would be the chances 1 in a Million maybe.............but for $50.00 its still in interesting addition to my memorabilia room!!

So then is the inference that the auction house unknowingly messed up? Purposely misled? Or that Ruth indeed used a cheap toy glove on occasion?

The Glove was originally purchased at an estate sale. The ebay seller stated that he figured that the glove was marked up by some kids and one of them tried to fake a Babe Ruth signature!! He was totally up front with his listing and we actually messaged each other back and forth a couple of times as I was trying to get as much information on the glove from him as I could. I don't think Ruth would have used anything cheap during his playing days!! Its just a interesting piece that sits in my memorabilia room. It was worth the $50.00 to me just as a display item and a fun conversation piece.

Ruth had the cream of the crop to pick from. Auction house have said that store model gloves have been Ruth game used/Owned etc to boost their profile and profits
