Default Fake Cobb in PSA Slab?

Hi Guys,

Saw this T206 red Cobb on eBay and feel like it is a reprint in a tampered PSA slab. Bidding is healthy on it too. What are your thoughts?

The caption doesn't look right with the letters not spaced correctly and it looks black instead of brown. The image just doesn't look clear enough either and the sides of the slab look very frosted to me.

Thanks,

AndyH

To me, the card looks fine, but the color shift on the left almost forecloses the possibility of it being a reprint - that would be one crappy reprint to have a yellow color shift!

It’s graded by PSA, so it’s fine. Just look at the numeral grade and bid.

I would've had the same thought as you Andy, from the scan you posted.
