thousands of cards looking for a home..
Posted By: ockday
We are packing up our home so we can begin renovations. I have literally tens of thousands of cards from the late 80's and early 90's that a need a home. If you know of any hospitals, charities, schools or other organizations that could brighten up some kids days with these , please give me a name and address and I will send them out . I thanks you and my wife does too!! |

I gave over 75,000 such cards away last year. I tried children's hospitals in the LA area, but they didn't want them. The Salvation Army picked them up at my house and gave me a tax receipt as well. |

As anyone that knows me would tell you, I would never ever delete a thread about helping folks with cards...new, old, whatever......I read this when it first got posted and said to myself "what a nice gesture"........Why would I delete that? regards all.... |

I appreciate your support. So far i have a couple of good causes and have enough to make some more kids happy. So let me know if you have a worthy cause. |

I can't believe that anybody would think that Leon would delete this thread. Does anybody really think the rules are so hard and fast that you have to be afraid to post something that doesn't mention pre-wwII baseball cards. |
