Default I'm going home to check my Babe Ruth underwear!

Posted By: Joe

We all know that the prize possession for the Babe Ruth underwear collector is the box that it came in. The advertising bat comes in a few lengths back in second place. And then there's the garment itself,
which contains the wonderful label. Well...below you've find a roll of 201 size 50 labels that will be sold in Mastro's next auction. I vaguely recall seeing quantities of these labels sold before. Anyone remember? Since my box and undies were purchased separately, I'll be curious to see the size of my Ruth product. And I'll also go out on a limb here and say that the market for Babe Ruth underwear in size 50 is now dead to me.

I've got a lid to the underwear box. Size - S m. I have a feeling that mine would be a bit snug for me. A neat piece. Mine hangs in my office.

I had a role a few years ago. I was selling them individually for $10-25 and it took like two years, but they all sold eventually.

I remember when Mastro auctioned a mint factory roll of 1969 Topps Decals. There were something like 10,000 decals.
