Default The anatomy of a fake T205

This is a perfect example of what to look for in a fake T205 (Cobb or any other). It has almost every one of the problems you are likely to encounter. It is actually a bit scarce in that respect. I think it is a low pop fake.

He is also selling a 52T Mantle for $500 that he's (SELLING AS UNKNOWN/UNGRADED) but it isn't doctored up like the Cobb. OHHH and it has a big REPRINT on the back but he still tries to list it like its unknown!!!!

If I am correct, and rightfully so, Leon most likely won't tell/show the other things he mentioned.

If he does, then all it does is help the scammers to further better their product.

Lots of Google info on what to look for to help distinguish between real and fake.

He's got some other "selling as unknown" cards up there. All it takes is one person who doesn't know that that means "RUN AWAY!"

Several negative feedbacks complaining about selling fakes too.

Well, since this is such a poor one...the first red flag was the white borders. Then the lithography on front is off focus and a little grainy. Then when turned over the back is just yucky compared to a real one. Check this Polar Bear back against the one in the first post (below)....
