I seem to see them in small spurts... There sure aren't any in most auctions.

Back to topic question, I haven't seen any T216 Virginia Extra's in a while....

Since this was originally posted over 4 years ago, I still haven't seen any of these pop up. Not that I have been actively searching, as I got extremely lucky 15 years ago or so when I got mine for a type card (thanks AC), but these cards just don't seem to exist out in the wild.

Default Briggs Meats Yankees

Many are rarely seen but these I have NEVER seen in any condition:
1953-54 Briggs Yankees...Bauer, Byrne, Mantle, McDougald, Rizzuto.
If anyone has one, I would love to see that they actually exist

How about some e92 Dockman's in nice condition? Keep reading how these are easiest to find, but not really the case. Some come up for auction every so often, but not regularly that's for sure.

Starting to just collect any decent e92 now.... I should get into those T206's they're all over the place! Huge set though and gotta kicker card, I've been told.

M101/National copper plate Wagner (rookie), Anson, Hoy, Delehanty, Young.

Honorable mention to the more common nice vg-ex T3’s. Trying to finish my set and just haven’t seen the last 6 cards I need (some in PSA 5/6 did auction but went very high in prices).

Default 51 Bowman Mantle

Hi Leon,
How in the world does your Mantle rate a 2 and mine (not submitted by me) rate a 3? The inconsistency in PSA grading is extremely annoying and seemingly unjust. Beautiful card and much nice than mine IMHO. Larry

Default T213-2's

I make several searches every day for some of the more obscure T213-2's that are on my want list. I found a few cards last year, but so far, none this year. There are over 300 T213-2's listed on eBay at the moment, but none are cards that I need.

I speculate that people are sitting on the good stuff due to skyrocketing prices.

Newer to the hobby, but it feels like Cracker Jacks are cropping up really slowly the past six months.

Outside of cards – first pressing Misfits singles. They used to be a fairly liquid market, but there's been a real slow down over the past year and a half.

You mean the Misfits punk rock band from the early 80's? Loved them.

I thought vinyl was hot regardless. Shows what I know. I got rid of my teenage punk and ska vinyl about 15 years ago and was surprised at the prices I got.

I agree, Rick, I'm only 10 cards away. Maybe we can compare notes and help each other out. Shoot me your email.

Yep! Easily the greatest band of their era and a defining chapter in music history. I have first pressings of their LPs and the Evilive EP, but the singles are ridiculously difficult to get a hold of. Cheapest one on the open market right now is around $800. She|Cough/Cool regularly goes for $4K+

The prices are hot, but the supply/liquidity isn't.

Haven’t seen any T205s with Hindu backs in a while.

Careful: eBay is starting to ban remorse returns, and don't even try to claim it was damaged in transit (#metoo). I guess you could describe it as not matching the listing...
