Default T206 Binder Page Question 15 vs 20

Looking for binder pages for my raw T206 cards. I have seen some that are 15 card and some that are 20 card. What is the drawback between 15 and 20. I am leaning towards the 20 card pages.

If I was going to do binders I'd go with toploaders in whatever page fit the most. Probably 9 pocket or maybe the ones for 51-2 Bowman if they're still available.

I get the feeling that many of the nice cards that have a vertical crease in the center top were once in T card pages.

I use the 15-pocket top loaders, they are almost the exact size of the regular 9-pocket sheets and fit in a regular binder perfectly.

The 15 card pages are nice as the pocket for the card to be held in is deeper and the cards are less likely to slip out of the pocket or shift in the pocket. I use them for my W572 collection and have been very happy.

+1

They work very well with T206, T205, and other similar era sized cards. They even work well for the collectors who collect the modern sized "tobacco" themed insert cards. Made by Ultra-Pro, should be about 20˘ each at your local baseball card shop or online….

Thanks guys. Will go with the 15 card pages. Looks like you will need 35 pages for a 518 card T206 "poor man" set!

That's what I would want... too scared to put them in those soft pages and all of my raw tobacco cards are already in the tobacco size top loaders.

Right now all my raw cards are in soft sleeves inside top loaders and I store them in a box. It would be nice to put them all in a binder but I don't want to lose the protection of the top loader.

Default 9 card sheets

When I was building my set I placed the t206's in penny sleeves, then the tobacco card specific top loaders that ultra pro sells, then in the 9 page pocket. They slide around a little bit, but it wasn't bad. I would store the binder standing up because if I had it laying down they had a tendency to slide out. It actually looked really nice! I just couldn't bring my self to store the t206's in the 15 card over because I was afraid they would get bent when stored in the binder.

It's not a bad system, looks great, and you can thumb through the cards pretty easily! You would probably need two binders if you go the 9 card page route for a complete t206 set.

There has to be a better product out there that we don't know about.

Default Binder Storage of t206's...

Came across this thread on a google search...it's been awhile, wanted to check and see if anyone has a good suggestion on binder storage of their t206's? I've used both the 15 and 20 card pages. My vote is the 20. I like the way the page is completely filled out with cards and fewer pages are needed. Plus getting cards in and out is much easier than the 15 card pages... the huge drawback is the top row seems to fall a little short (at least with the BCW brand) leaving a small top portion of the cards exposed.

Are there any suggestions for binder storage/page brands that folks think they've nailed it and can share???

A side note, I put 520 together in 2008 and my method was trimming semi-rigid holders along the top and one side, so they would fit in the standard 9-card pages...made for a thick heavy binder, but it all fit in one binder and I felt like the cards were well protected. Not a horrible option, but I'm all in on 20 per page vs 15 or 9.

I settled on 15 pocket pages in Lighthouse binders. happy with that choice. I also bought stamp tongs to help slide cards in/out without damaging them

Yeah, I came across a guy who had about 70-80 t206's for sale on 'offer-up' of all places. I was skeptical...but they were legit (bunch of HOFers, some SLers, even an Elite 12 in the mix), he had them stored in the 15-card pages. I was actually using a q-tip along the back of some cards to help slide them out, so good to know on the stamp tongs.

I'm curios if anyone knows of 20 card pages that might fit a little better than the BCW, yet still provide archival safe, acid free, etc..

Included some pics of the collection I came up on...
