Default T206 Red Cobb Variation

For those of us that like Red Cobbys. Just saw this one on a completed sale on ebay. Don't remember seeing one of him with his eyes looking high in the sky (probably a print alignment issue).

And one from my collection for comparison.

Ah yes, the teenage eyeroll variation. Complete with Cobb's my first mustache.

Nice, I have seen him looking left and right with the ones looking right being less common. For some reason when I bought mine I couldn't stand the ones with him looking to the right.

The $35k PSA 5 that keeps getting relisted on ebay has such poor print alignment/registration that it also looks like this.

That card has sat on eBay for at least 4 years and the dude just keeps increasing the BIN price. I actually think Cobb’s expression on that card is a direct response to the owner’s (I won’t say seller’s) asking price.

I watched this exact card be won by Mr. Alaska for $5k. I thought it was a gamble to pay that much then, only to watch him increase his ask over the past 3-4 years to crazy levels.

Tyrus was known to take a hit from the old bong before a game to try to keep his furious temper in check.
