I picked this up in a type-card lot on ebay a few months back - one of the rare times a D-card shows up in my price range. Any recommendations for reattaching Mr. Holland's head? Is there any tape that won't yellow over time?
Thanks |

Place the 2 pieces as close as you can, then compress them in a screw down.
Thus no tape or glue needed |

I think I would do what is suggested in post #4, but it makes me wonder what SGC or PSA would do if you sent them a card in two pieces.
Has anyone done this? Can you post a pic of a slabbed 2-parter? |

Flexible collodion works well to attach pieces of paper. It's sold as Liquid Bandage or New Skin in the first-aid section of pharmacies. I've heard that it gets yellow over time, but I have a stamp that was repaired with flexible collodion more than 20 years ago and there's no yellowing there.

I can't really add anything to this thread (as usual) but you could cut it up into six (or even seven) pieces and send each out to different members of the Holland family. Would make for a wonderful Thanksgiving reunion and bring plenty of good karma your way. Just saying.

There is archival quality repair tape available at framing and art suppliers that is used by museums in such situations. Here is link to one:
