Default 1989 Upper Deck Pack - Is it Low or High Series?

I don't deal with too many cards from the 80's so I don't know much about them. I recently purchased a box of unopened 89 Upper Deck packs.
I know that there is low & a high series. How do I know which series these packs come from? If you know the answer, please explain why.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, it's not that the low series says 'low', it's more that they don't mention the high series. And unlike Topps wax packs that were issued in series and only contained that series, the low series Upper Deck packs contained cards 1-700 and the high series contained cards 1-800.

So if you do the math, the odds of pulling a Griffey RC is slightly better in the low series (1 in every 46.66 packs) than in the high series (1 in every 53.33 packs).

Of course that assumes that the Griffey's were produced in the same numbers as all the other cards.
