Default Best place to buy Vintage

I've been buying and selling on ebay for 20+ years but I'm getting a little burnt out. So many of the sellers are pricing their graded cards out the stratosphere. Then they put a 'best offer' on but in reality they are only willing to come down $100 on a $5000 card. it's ridiculous in many cases. Just wondering if there's any recommendations for any other options out there to get good quality vintage cards at reasonable prices? Thanks in advance.

I’m sure many other will agree, the buy sell trade section here is a great place to check.

I like The Battersbox when it comes to buying raw cards. The pricing is fair and the cards are usually spot on with the grading. They also ship fast and are easy to get a hold of in my experience.

Agree with Battersbox. I would also add that Sirius and Greg Morris are also pretty good sources for raw cards.

I agree the B/S/T on here is my go to place. I hardly buy anything on eBay any more. You will find the best sellers are on here. There are also a few auctions that I follow closely. Sterling, LOTG, REA, Birmingham, and Sirius for some of the later stuff I collect.

A great old school dealer that I have been buying from for almost 30 years is Mark MaCrae, who sends out email listings of vintage offerings and has a very deep inventory on a variety of issues. I have never had any issues with him...he is very consistent with the grading of his raw cards, to the point where I have never felt the need for scans, and he is extremely knowledgeable and easy to deal with as well.

That's odd. Still waiting on both. I might've screwed up when applying. I don't use facebook too often. I'll reach out to the respective admins.

Does anybody else scroll through this post hoping not to see their dealer of choice. I have someone who is great, and has an awesome selection, but I'm afraid that if I share it, that selection won't be available when I'm looking to make my next purchase.

I have bought more on our BST than anywhere else the last year. That said, all of our AH advertisers are good to buy from .

Every thread needs a card.....

Do you have an email for Mark? I found one through Beckett's website but it doesn't seem to work. Thanks.
