Default OJ Fa, Fb, Fc Team Question.

So I was going through my Des Moines and Sioux City OJs today and decided to finally identify which each of Fa, Fb, and Fc.

In looking through the bible, I rediscovered there was a breakdown. So I see there is only 1 player with 4 poses in '88 with a Fa. Who is this??

TIA Craig

The lone Fa Des Moines player is Ed Swartwood (cards based on photoshoot with Brooklyn the year before). The rest of the 1888 Des Moines cards are all Fb and extremely tough. The one guy that might give you most trouble is Orator Shafer as he wasn't re-issued a card in 1889 and thus wanted by advanced collectors.

Vast majority, maybe 80%, of Des Moines cards surviving today are of the Fc variety.

Good luck!
