Default Bobo Brazil

Back in Southern California in 1964, Tuesday nights meant Boy Scouts (Troop 67) and then home to watch Roller Derby (LA T-Birds) and Wrestling from the Olympic Auditorium announcer Dick Lane "WHOA-NELLY" KTLA Channel 5. Well at least that's how I remember it
Roller Derby favorites: Terri Lynch, Ralph Valladares, Danny Reilly
Wrestling Favorite: Bobo Brazil

Brings back lots of memories. Here on the East Coast my brother and I used to watch Bobo paired up with Sweet Daddy Siki in tag team matches. Our announcer was usually Ray Morgan, who did a great job trying to interview different acts while inevitably getting the microphone taken from his hand as the wrestler or their manager went on a tirade. All great fun.

Exclamation

Sweet Daddy Siki was my very favourite wrestler in the early 1960's when wrestling cards were regularly scheduled at the old London Arena:

I don't remember Bobo Brazil ever making a stop in London but Whipper Billy Watson, Taro Sakuro, Johnny Valentine, Dick "The Bulldog" Brower, Killer Kowalski and Yukon Eric were other semi-regular features.

Do you also remember Dory Dixon? He also tagged w/ Brazil on the show hosted by Morgan. How about Ricki Starr, Karl Von Hess or Sky Low Low?
