It's only a few months back when you posted the thread about Clark Gillies passing. Now Mike Bossy! Makes me feel a little small to remember how I hated these guys when they wore the Islander jersey. Too young.

I never heard anyone say a bad word about him.

Yes, they were both way to young. Cancer sucks!

Not as famous as his brother Denis, but Jean Potvin played on several of those teams and also passed recently.

He had been sick/dealing with lung cancer for quite sometime. I just posted a link on Blowout not long ago that read he had been moved to palliative care on April 4th.
I knew things couldn't have been great if the family/Doctor's chose that option, but I never expected he would be gone this quick after that move.
