Default Stamps, Stamps, Stamps, Help

A friend has acquired a boatload of stamps. I have only seen a few, but have been asked to evaluate the entire collection. If any board members who have suggestions about how to proceed with this project and know stamps, I would like to speak with you. Shoot me a PM or gmail through the site here and so we can exchange contact information. I will not be selling any of them myself, but will be scanning the ones I have seen. I look forward to speaking with you.
Thank you.

I know a little about stamps.
Are these worldwide or US Stamps?
If US, most after the 1930's i used are almost nothing. If unused, there are a few that may be worth something and they all can still be used for postage. The money is in the older stamps. Do you have any pictures or scans?
Thanks,
Bob

I have a friend who collects if the seller just wants to get rid of them.

I believe Steve Birmingham (Steve B) is a long time, and advanced, stamp collector.
