Default R.I.P. Vin Scully

Vin passed away today...a big part of my childhood, as I would listen to Dodger games in the late 60's and through the 70's on my transistor radio. Vin could really paint a picture that put you right there in the stadium. He will be missed.

Vinnie was the best broadcaster I ever heard.
Same experience with the transister radio under the pillow on summer nights.
My most vivid memories of Vinnie's broadcasts will always include Don Drysdale's amazing 58 2/3 scoreless innings streak in 1968 and the unexpected 1988 season that led to a Dodger World Series victory.

Vin Scully was smooth beyond compare and a gift to all baseball fans.
RIP Vinnie!
