Default Anyone know how long it's taking for SGC to grade a card?

Leaning towards them rather than PSA if their service is better.

~100 business days for basic service. No TPG is hitting estimating service times nor will they for a very long time, if ever again.

On Sept 23 I will reach 90 days waiting for my 10 day turn-around order for a $1500 submission. I've thought about calling them, but maybe I'll give them until October if it's 100 days.

You can always pay the extra money to jump ahead to the front of the line.

I sent a "20 business day" sub that was received by them on May 19. I finally got it back on September 14.

After 113 days, my 10 day submission to SGC in June finally reached "post-grading processing"!

Anyone know how long it's taking for SGC to grade a card?

It is a finite yet unknowable number.

Default Total Guess

From my impression like 4 months or so for their basic "I can wait" submission, for $100/card,-- less than a week.

SGC has at least admitted the deal now and changed their service levels, but they lost a lot of street cred and respect from collectors IMO back in April and May when they screamed "We're open, send us your cards!" for a period of 4-6 weeks, knowing full well during at least some of that time that the influx was exponentially more than they could handle with the staff they had. They have always been my favorite grader, and that's sad because they screwed up bad this year. I paid the $100 to get a more expensive card that I really needed graded done back a few months ago, but besides that I'm sitting on what would have been at least several SGC orders for the regular service until they can prove they know what they are doing with regular subs again.

As best I know, you cannot fast track a re-holder. I would imagine they would be about the same speed as the standard service.
