Per Elliot's request,I am glad to start a new Buy/Sell/Trade thread.

I'm still looking for Ex or better condition S74 Silks of the following 1905-1915 era catchers: Bresnahan, Gibson, and Meyers. Also looking for photos and postcards of these players. Also would love to buy a Piedmont Art Stamp of Bresnahan or Ira Thomas.

Thanks, Patrick

low grade commons from any set for my player set. Only criteris for condition is no heavy crease thru the face and the name on the card legible. Paper loss, back damge, etc are acceptable as long as it doesn't affect the face.

Hello all,

I am working on the Monster and I am down to 191 cards minus the big 4. Most wanted are the Demmitt and O'Hara St. Louis variations in vg/ex or better but I will purchase any of the others that I need, also. Can anyone help?

Hello All,

Well unlike Eric, I have a looonnnggg way to go with my T206 set. I am looking for T206's in the VG-EX to EX-MT range. I would especially like to find someone who is willing to sell a large lot at a reasonable rate . Below is a list of my most wanted cards...

Mordecai Brown (Portrait)
Mordecai Brown (Throwing W/Cubs On Shirt)
Mordecai Brown (Throwing W/Chicago On Shirt)
Ed Walsh
Iron Man McGinnity
Ed Reulbach (Glove Showing)
Harry Pattee (Horizontal)
Rube Waddell (Portrait)
Fred Clarke (With Bat)
Al Burch (Batting)
Red Kleinow (Boston)
Chick Gandil
Joe Tinker (Hands On Knees)
Gavvy Cravath
All Southern League Players

That is just a few. As I said before, I have a long way to go yet. I would appreciate any help on this.

As always, I have plenty of good stuff for sale at:

http://www.angelfire.com/nb/jms/sale.html.

Free shipping on anything from that page.

I also have about 1/2 of the Mayo Set (no Ewing, Delahanty, or Hamilton, or Dahlen, missing a handful of commons) that I will consider selling as singles or as a lot. Most cards are low-grade (fair-ish), but most are presentable.

I am always interested in very low grade Anson stuff.

Funds are an issue .

Jeff

I'm starting my tobacco/early 1900's collection very slowly. I'm looking for affordable T205 or T206 Christy Mathewson cards in VG-EX shape and any early T-series or candy cards of Brooklyn Dodgers like Jake Daubert, Dazzy Vance, Dahlen, etc.

I am looking for Old Judge poses I need(please contact me), Kalamazoo Bats, any cards of Keeler (especially T206s with uncommon backs for Keeler) and M101-4/5 unusual backs.
I can offer a large variety of Old Judge singles. I'm a little light on HOFers now but I have some nice SGC slabbed cards and plenty of raw ones.

Best---Jay

Wants:

N2 Allen & Ginter Indians in EX or better

N28 (SGC 80 or better) - Anson, Kelly, Mulvey, Comiskey, Clarkson, Bennett, Ward, Carver, Oakley, Cody

N29 (gradeable) - Ewing, F Murphy

N162 (gradeable) - Anson, Brouthers, Caruthers, Dunlap, Beecher, D'Oro

High end T3s and T9s

Tobacco banners, counter cards, poster cards

Still building my high end (SGC 80 or better) type collection (N, T, E, D, W, etc). I only have 3 'E' cards guys and girl, I know the board hoards these like iodine tablets,

Available for offers/trades/$$$/trades and $$$:

N28 (SGC graded) - Mulvey 50, Trickett 40

N29 (SGC graded) - Ives 60, Meyers 50, Albert 40

N43 (SGC graded) - O'Connor 70, Paulsen 70, Carter 70, Queckberner 50, Hill 50, Wood 50, Temple 50, Kerrigan 50, Albert 80

N184 (SGC graded) - Wessels 40, Webb 30, Wood 50, Hanlan 30, Humphrey 40

E120 Al Sothoron looks NM, rejected by SGC as being slightly trimmed at bottom edge

T202 #109 Stone about to slide SGC 50 (looks nicer)

Tom Barker (SGC graded) - "sliding into home umpire on left" 84, "runner sliding hugging base" 70, "runner sliding fielder at bag" 84

T3 Turkey Red Criger rounded corners, 4 tack holes, couple of fingernail punches

T9 Turkey Red boxer H Lewis EX+

T200 Pittsburg N SGC 30

T200 Chicago N SGC 40

W600 James Callahan EX+ (slight foxing back, slight stain front) (trade for anything on want list)

H807-1 Allen and Ginter Black Stocking 9 female baseball cabinet NM (similar to N173) (trade for anything on want list)

N172 Crotty "spotted tie" - SGC called me about this card because of the rough cut left side. They told me they have no doubt that it was a 19th century cut and even had it in a holder, but because of the way it looked in the holder and I think because of what is going on, they decided to pop it out, I agreed with them. It has some wrinkling on the back, but doesn't show through to the front.

N172 Art Whitney SGC 60 (3a white uniform, 3rd B) nice contrast sharp corners, 2 small chips top left corner and top middle.

N172 Emil Geiss SGC 50 (5 pitching right hand chin high) again nice contrast, nice looking 50.

N172 Stump Weidman SGC 60 (4 bat in hand at side) picture a little light, 1 soft corner.

Also have available 2 1960 hard back American Card Catalogs. 1 with dust jacket, 1 without and has slight binding damage, but all there and not as bad as it sounds.

would love to trade for some nice 'E' cards. any questions, big scans, etc., feel free to email, happy hunting, Keith

hi all,

i have a dupe t206 available for sale or trade. PSA 3 eddie plank, with the scarcer 350 sweet caporal back. 25 years ago plank in a 350 series was unknown, but it's discovery dispelled the "broken plate myth" probably only 1 in 10 planks have a 350 back, that equates to about 8-10 extant, as there are probably only 100 eddie plank t206's in existence, let alone psa 3.

price & scans available upon request, will trade for groups of rare/desirable cards or cards i need and cash. no junk or common deals.

scott

I thought you should be bolder and firmer in your disclaimer. Something on the order of "Buy and sell at your own risk. This board and moderator takes no responsibility for your choice to buy and sell. You are accepting these terms by using this board."

There's no way I would want to be a moderator for a board like this. People sue, you know.

hi every one i have added a scan of the T206 eddie plank, front and back to my website.

http://www.sb1.50megs.com/catalog.html

sorry don't know how to make it clickable, you'll have to cut and paste.

the site is a tiny fraction of the cards i have available, as i do not update it often.
