Default ‘54 Topps Aaron - Authentic?

This card is part of a lot on an auction site that I’m watching including other vintage Aarons that clearly look authentic. Anyone wish to share their thoughts about the authenticity based on this single image provided for what appears to be a 1954 Topps Aaron?

Best case scenario is it's authentic but trimmed (bottom left). I wouldn't be into it, too hard to glean anything from that pic.

Default Maybe

Looks kind of thin like almost paper thin as well as trimmed. I would bet on it not being good based on that one photo only.

Thanks gentlemen for your input. Was also wondering if it’s trimmed.

Thanks gents for your input. Now I just have to decide if the price is right for the other vintage cards as they stand...and whatever this card turns out to be...would be a pleasant surprise, at best if it’s a trimmed card and at worst if it’s a cheap reprint.

It appears hand cut and faded beyond belief, let it go.

Even beaters are worth a few hundred dollars. It’s really hard to tell if this is a fake or a beater with the heavy sun fading and picture quality that doesn’t give a good view of the stock. I can’t tell either. I’d assume it’s a fake if it was me.

I just have to reiterate what others have said. Namely, if you look at the strip of white at the bottom of the card at right and follow it as it crosses to the left, it is a nice rectangular, equally thick strip...and then BOOM!!! as it reaches the bottom left, it drastically shoots upward, because it has been X-Actoed. This card is at best a (badly) trimmed original or (most likely) a hand-cut reprint or something.

The picture looks like it came from a "...don't know if it's real, so we're selling as a reprint..." eBay listing.

If this card turns out to be fake, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest

If that was a Preacher Roe card, I'd say it was genuine. As it is....

P.S. Got them to send me a shot of the back of that suspicious looking “rookie” Aaron. Any further thoughts or analysis? Thanks
