Default Auto ID Help J COLLINS Baseball Early 1900s

Anyone have any idea who this might be? Looks to be J Collins Red Sox 1912 (or 14) but I can't find anyone with that last name associated with the Red Sox that particular year.

Obviously it would be great if it was HOFer Jimmy Collins but lacking the distinctive J and C I don't think so.

Only other J Collins I know of who played for Red Sox is John “ Shano “ Collins but he played for them in the early 1920s . And of course this isn’t the HOFer Jimmy Collins . In some ways it does loosely resemble “ Shano “ Collins’ signature . The date either 1912 or 1914 corresponds with his years with the White Sox , so unless that second line can be read as Ch Sox or Chi Sox the date(s) don’t match the Red Sox.

Well Jimmy Collins played for the Red Sox. Not in 1912 though. No idea on the auto or if that actually says Red Sox.

Ray Collin’s was on the 1912 team, but that does not look like an R.
