How rare are these cards? Are they popular or they do not sell very well?

I've been after one for a while-- they come up but usually with high BINs as opposed to auction. I like this card as well as the OPC. Both are not as "mainstream" as the Playball. It's a tough card, but also does not have popular demand which might make resale a process, if you consider that when purchasing for your collection. It's a very cool card IMO, but there's always one ahead of it on my list lately.

Personally, I don't like the facial expression, or the "Deadpan Joe" on the back.

Perhaps the facial expression caused the card biographer to coin the "Deadpan" nickname for him...just a thought.

I do not, but my '37 OPC is a favorite.

I scored that bad boy about 15 years ago at a big card show they used to have in Montreal in the basement of the Olympic Stadium. It was always kind of a seedy weird vibe there...I loved it!

Ahhh the memories I use to go to those shows in Montreal as a teenager.

That is where I got my raw Nolan Ryan 1968 Topps rookie card (I do not own it anymore).

Default What a surprise..

I saw this and thought the Adrian ban had been lifted.

Would love one of these, but would definitely prefer a Zeenut given SF roots.

That said, beautiful example Yankeecollector!!!
