Default 1913 Tom Barker or National Game?

Greetings, is the 1913 Tom Barker set tougher then the 1913 National Game set?
Also would be interested to know which set is scarcer. Look forward to some replies.
Merry Christmas to All

Just based on what I have seen the National Game set is rarer and generally more coveted. It's a knee jerk reaction though without any study.

We've been tracking on-line auctions of tabletop games and game cards for quite a few years, and the availability of the two games
seems pretty evenly matched. Granted, we've almost certainly missed a few sales that could tip the balance one way or the other,
but for what it's worth, we've seen nine complete sets and four near-complete sets of the WG5 Base Ball - The National Game sell,
and seven complete and three near-complete sets of the WG6 Tom Barker Baseball Card Game sell.
Offerings of individual WG5 cards also seem to greatly outnumber offerings of individual WG6 cards.

Default National Game beats up upon Tom Barker

Just to throw in my untimely personal experience opinion...throughout the years it has seemed to me that the National Game cards are slightly more common than the Tom Barker, somewhere in the ratio of 60/40 to 55/45. Thus it is not so different as to cause any pricing difference between the two sets.

Default 1913 Tom Barker VS National Game

Thanks for all of the posts everyone. The info is greatly appreciated. I note that the Tom Barker Set is slightly scarcer (check PSA pop reports) but I think the National Game cards fetch slightly higher prices. It is not logical but it seems to be the case. Would be interesting to research further.
