A pickup thanks to my family

My first Gehrig

Nice pickup, Jeffrey, i was bidding on that one but missed the ending! You got a good deal I thought.

I did pick this up (finally!!) to complete my Eastern Exhibit set. Whew. I passed on several that were graded 3-4 but had creases, but that was some years ago I before the explosion in prices and have been kicking myself. I paid more for this one (actually went for pretty much what i thought i would have to pay), but the front is way nicer and fits my set better than a creased one. It does have a tape/slight loss on the back that was fine and accounted for the grade. And, well, it’s the Babe! Only 21 graded according to the description.

Got this awesome card in the mail today. He must have been a very bad card because he was in a plastic cage. He also had his name and prison ID number placed above him in the plastic cage.

Lucky for him I decided to free him and hope for good conduct during my time of owning him.

Thanks and now I got my fill for a while (how long who knows) to regroup for a bigger score


In the meantime I look forward to the pickups of others and hopefully i will quench my addiction by living thru their collections....
