Default Help with Album/Slipcase Issue

I keep many baseball, basketball and football sets from the 60s and 70s in albums with slipcases (like the MJ Roop binders and covers). Now that MJ Roop doesn't exist anymore, I don't have the name/year of the set stamped on the spine of the binder. Any thoughts on how to indicate on the spines this information? Other than creating a sticker on the computer and slapping it on?

I had some books bound and they printed text and info on the binding. I'd imagine you could find one either local or one that you could ship your binders that would emboss for you.

Edited to add: this is the company that I used but looks like they have new ownership.

Offhand, I Don't know of another way besides a label. I used to sell these types of Brother P-touch label makers.

Otherwise you might take a binder to a printing shop and see what they can do for you. They might have a solution that would be very cheap and look better than a label.

One of our fellow board members showed off a collection with the binder spines having a top loader attached with an example from the set inside. It looked sharp.
