Default 1st Bowman/Chrome vs. 2nd Bowman/Chrome

I have a question for those in the know with regards to modern baseball rookie card collecting. All of the relics, autos and colors aside, the two most widely collected issues appear to be the 1st Bowman/Chrome and/or “RC” designated cards depending on your individual taste. My question is, what are your thoughts on those players that have two different Bowman issues during their 1st Bowman year, i.e. - Bowman Draft & Bowman Prospects (which come out earlier in the season so would always be first if there are two different issues of a player)? As the market stands now, the 1st Bowman sells for many multiples of what the second Bowman card from the same year brings. Do you think this will always be the case with very little interest in the alternative card or are these undervalued and poised for an increase in the future as the 1st Bowman rises in value?

It rarely flip flops, but when it does, it's normally because of a team change (traded early in career) or because the second image is much nicer than the first.
If you're looking for ROI compared to the 1st Bowman Chrome card, and thinking people are going to come around, I wouldn't recommend it. There's been 20 years of 1st Bowman Chrome cards and it hasn't happened widescale yet.
Nobody could have predicted the Panini Prizm revolution of 2020, but you're on your own as to whether these 2nd or 3rd chrome cards start to close the gap.
