Default Texas Gum Co. History (Mello-Mint)

I came across this article about the Texas Gum Company in Temple, Tx. You have to scroll down past the banana bread article to get to it.

I'd not heard of Temple, Texas. So, I looked at Wikipedia to learn a bit about it.

Rip Torn, actor, is from there. And a couple of football players of note... Sammy Baugh and Mean Joe Green.

Nice article and information on Mello Mints...

My biggest customer in IT sales, when I was doing them, was Mclane Company. A multi billion dollar trucking company. They are in Temple, Texas. I always hoped to find an E105 there but never did.
