Thanks Brent. It's one of my favorites, but that means one of about 30 items. Some more good stuff soon.

Bump...still available.

If not for the non-Ruth autograph on another panel, this would be 2-3 times more expensive. The quotes around Babe and the one-year only official AL ball also make it a more desirable example.

More items coming, just trying to get over summer lethargy.

Scott you should consign it to a major auction house instead of wasting your time with people backing out. Selling it on Ebay your paying 10% on Ebay and 3% on Paypal so it's 13% and the auction houses charge about 15% sellers fee so it's almost the same. Once you send it to them it's done, they list it and ship it and you wait for your check to arrive. Granted there is the time frame so if you need the money right away it won't work for ya but your getting guys that want a Ruth ball and willing to pay for it with an auction house. On a high end item like your ball I would think you'll get a good price. You can even have them put a reserve on the ball. just my opinion which doesn't mean anything. Just hate to see ya keep getting guys backing out. Good luck with the sale and hope your successful.

Thanks Keith. My goal was to sell a target dollar amount of stuff and then send most of my big items to auction houses, so we are thinking alike. Also, I've eliminated the tire-kicker and back-out factors on ebay by removing 'best offer' and requiring immediate Paypal payment. I'll probably do this with all of my auctions, a few at a time.

3rd times the charm, right? ️ surprised it even lasted that long.

I've been very tempted to sell off cards to get the ball, it's that stunning.

Thanks Brent - this is not an item that I really wanted to sell, but I am too lazy to sell $3K worth of smaller things, so hoping the payment arrives this time.

If so, I will truly be as 'Ruth-less' as many accuse me of being.
