Picked up earlier in the month on eBay from none other than Dan Mckee (Thanks, Dan!). I'll typically collect HOFers and cards with color, but one can't deny the simple charm of a nice OJ with good contrast.

beautiful OJs, Chuck! Love the strong images.

Just got this in today, a tougher Shibe Park postcard of the third-baseline stands - tough to tell w/the small pic but there is a Ringling Bros advertisement in the background

Nice pc Rob, think I was the under-bidder on that one. You need to find the Polo Grounds counterpart now.

I picked up three new backstamps for my backstamp project this month. The "Smith" and "Alfred Hudson" are new to me. The other one I have several documented so far. I'm excited to have two new ones for the project.

Thanks a lot,

I just picked this up yesterday. I think the writing was done in the teens or twenties.

I also picked up the Magee error a couple of weeks ago.

Nice card Erick!

Not twins....triplets.

Thomas also appears on top of another Rossman two-namer.

PM on the way.

I'm not usually completely confused at why something went so low, but after seeing what some of the other Cycle backs have gone for in recent months

How the hell did I pull this off

Default There is a story behind this card...

To try and keep it short, this card was sold by Kevin Savage Auctions more than two years ago. Through him, I tried to contact the buyer to see if he was interested in selling to me (I didn't know Kevin Savage Auctions existed before I got a message from someone on the board asking if I had gotten it). Never a response. Come to find out, the buyer passed away shortly after the auction. His family has spent the last two years selling off all his cards. This one came back to Kevin, he auctioned it again, and this time, I did win. (Hope it doesn't carry a curse or anything)

212 Seymour

Number 212 in the rebuilt collection.
