It is amazing how much the rare backs have increased in price over the past few years. I just started collecting T206's again this year after selling my collection in 2003 (I had 367/524 & 66 of the HOF'er at the time ). I remember buying a Hindu red HOFer on ebay in about the same condition (McGraw with a spot of paper loss about the size of a dime on back) for about $65.00 back around 2001-02.

Those look like the prices of a dealer with a reality distortion field around him!

The odd thing is that most of his T206s were reasonably priced and were negotiable. But anything that had a "hint" of being rare or special was astronomical.

Default In reality

These cards were actually priced by a dealer who specializes in T cards and has a vast knowledge of these cards. 99 percent of the prices were right on...by sunday they'll be half price if they are still sitting there.
