I'm not seeing it. He only got votes in one year, 2013, and it was 3 percent. It would take a cosmic turnaround in perception of his career for him to make the Hall.

Very, very pleased to add Bo to my collection. He was waiting on me yesterday when I wandered into my LCS. Another childhood-era dream come true.

Just a great card that represented an exciting time in baseball. I always loved his 87 Topps, too. Cool pickup!

It'll have to come from the Veterans Committee.

I guess things change and anything is possible but he feels like a significantly weaker version of Tim Raines to me. Also he played for about 50 teams which won't help.

Tim Raines career WAR: 69.4
Kenny Lofton career WAR: 68.4

WAR isn’t everything, but I think the “lots of teams” thing masks a heck of a player.

And Lofton did play most of 10 seasons with Cleveland. He just also played a year or less for other 10 teams.

Hard to believe this inaugural issue still hasn't gotten any traction.
30 years this year.

I loved those card when they first came out too, Ray.
I think, although this is just a guess, that because this was the era where cards were flooding the market (junk wax era) they are all being lumped in with that?
This one, however, which I posted in the link below, finished well, imo.

Peter and I were discussing it somewhat in this thread as well.
