That blank front must be an underprint.

Printing mistake. Though not common, you will find a number of blank front and blank back 1980s-90s cards. I pulled a blank front card and a blank back card of of Topps packs as a kid.

I think Ripken is an announcer on TNT for the playoffs

Paste a 38 Goudey front on it and then you got something.

J/K. David is correct, Blank front cards are fairly common on Topps cards from late 80's early 90's.

back in 1987, I pulled from a pack a very rare blank front and blank back 1953 Bowman Color Jose Canseco with a faint wet transfer of an off-center, upside-down T206 Cobb Red Background.
Really quite odd.

But I had a dupe, so I threw it in the garbage.

I am very surprised that nobody has told the poster that the question is on the wrong side. I would of expected it by now.

Back in 1980 I pulled a Topps Nolan Ryan card that had a fingerprint inked on the front. I still have it somewhere and I believe it was the first DNA card made.

Ask Quan.

He specializes in 1990 Orioles including Ben McDonald.

Leon,

I hate to nitpick, but Jim VB came up with that joke back in the Shakespearean era (see first comment).

instead of creating a new Topps thread. It seems there is a reality based show about Topps:
